In life when do we know where we’re going? When do we know what we want to do with our own life? It seems from the day we are born the grooming process never stops trying to make our pathways “seem” clear to us.
Wake up, go to school, go to college, go to work, and it goes on and on until you die. It’s supposed to be clear to you all along but is that our true path?
As you go through life sometimes the pathway becomes tough and tougher than anything you’ve ever done to this point. It’s important to remember not to get lost in all that’s wrong. Look for the silver lining, the positive, and the sunshine. When it’s so easy to succumb to the darkness and give up you must press forward. Repeat after me “I Will Force that smile on my face and keep going,” and AGAIN “I WILL FORCE THAT SMILE AND KEEP GOING.” Make this your daily ritual until it becomes reality. No more excuses, no more waiting until tomorrow. Say “I will make my life better, Now!”
Making sure you define your goals is important as anything you’ll need on your pathway, you need to set that target to aim at. Set it intentionally high, don’t back down. If you make it, you’ll surprise yourself and be proud. If you don’t, that’s ok because you gave it your best at all times. Only after setting a target can you truly find your pathway for the time being. Oh, you thought it was going to stay the same? Ha! You’ve given me a good chuckle there. Don’t set yourself in stone, life changes you and your goals, and that’s perfectly normal. “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks,” they say, but that’s not always the case. You are in control of your life and YOU make changes that make your life better or worse. If someone else’s opinion or words prevent you from achieving your goals, it’s your own fault for paying any attention to them! Stop doing that.
Your true pathway should make you happy, and make your life generally better. It should help you grow in knowledge and experience with your daily activities. Keep toxic behavior outside your bubble and invite positivity to your home. Smile at that random stranger, greet that person you pass on your morning walk, be kind to others even if they haven’t given you a reason to. It doesn’t matter what you get in return, even if it’s nothing, take the extra step because that speaks to your character. It’s so very fulfilling to help your fellow man on your pathway in life and sometimes improve your own endeavors.
What will your Pathway become, today?
